Thumb impression maker
Clean left thumb impression from a phone photo, sized for exam forms. Runs on your device, nothing is uploaded.
How to use Thumb impression maker
- 01Press your left thumb on an ink pad and onto plain white paper, then take a clear, well-lit photo of it. A close-up of a clean fingertip also works.
- 02Drop the photo in and drag the box tightly around the thumb.
- 03Pick the photo type and slide Cleanup until the ridges are crisp and the paper is pure white.
- 04Choose IBPS / SBI or enter your exam's size, then Download JPG.
Bank and government exam forms ask for a scanned left thumb impression at an exact size, usually 240 by 240 pixels between 20 and 50 KB for IBPS and SBI. A phone photo of an inked thumb comes out grey, tilted, uneven and several megabytes, and gets rejected.
This tool crops the photo to your thumb, then separates the ink ridges from the paper by comparing every pixel with its surroundings, which cancels out shadows and uneven light. What's left is a crisp blue or black impression on a pure white background, sized and compressed to the portal's limits.
The photo is processed entirely in your browser; your fingerprint is never uploaded anywhere. Always check your exam's notification for the exact dimensions and file size, and use Custom if they differ.
Questions
Is my thumb photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser tab. Your fingerprint never leaves your device.
What size do IBPS and SBI want?
Usually 240 x 240 pixels and 20 to 50 KB, in JPG. Rules can change between notifications, so confirm in yours.
Can I use a photo of my finger without ink?
Yes, choose Bare fingertip photo. Inked impressions on paper come out cleaner, so use ink if the portal is strict.
The result is under the minimum KB. What do I do?
Lower Cleanup so more ridge detail is kept, or use a sharper photo. More detail means a larger file.
