How to use Rotate & flip

  1. Drop your images onto the upload area.
  2. Rotate left or right, or flip horizontally or vertically.
  3. Choose an output format under Save as and click Apply.
  4. Download each image, or click Download all for a zip.

A photo that comes out of a scanner or an old phone sideways or upside down needs its pixels actually turned, not just displayed differently — this rotates the image itself so it opens the right way up everywhere, not only in the app that happens to read its orientation metadata.

Rotation is in 90° steps, which covers the common case: a photo shot with the phone held the wrong way. Flipping mirrors the image left-right or top-to-bottom, for a selfie that reads backwards or a scan that came out mirrored. Both combine, so you can rotate and flip the same image in one pass.

Everything happens in your browser — nothing is uploaded, so there's no per-file limit. Drop in a batch, set the rotation and flip once, and apply it to all of them together.

Questions

Can I rotate by an angle other than 90°?

No — rotation moves in 90° steps (left or right, any number of times). For fine-angle straightening of a slightly tilted photo, that's a different tool from a 90° rotate.

What's the difference between rotating and flipping?

Rotating turns the whole image around a point, like spinning a physical photo. Flipping mirrors it along an axis — horizontal flip swaps left and right, vertical flip swaps top and bottom. They can be combined.

Will rotating lose any image quality?

No — a 90°-multiple rotation or flip just repositions whole pixels, it doesn't resample or blend anything the way an arbitrary-angle rotation would.

Can I rotate a lot of photos the same way at once?

Yes — drop in as many as you like, set the rotation and flip once, and apply it to the whole batch in one go.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The rotation happens entirely in your browser — the files never leave your device.
