Screenshot beautifier

Drop a screenshot onto a gradient with a device frame.

How to use Screenshot beautifier

  1. Drop a screenshot onto the upload area.
  2. Pick a gradient background such as Ocean, Sunset, Forest, Candy or Slate.
  3. Adjust the padding and corner radius, and turn the browser frame and drop shadow on or off.
  4. Choose an output format under Save as and click Download.

A raw screenshot pasted straight into a README, a tweet or a landing page reads as an afterthought. Padding it onto a gradient with rounded corners and a soft shadow is most of what separates a screenshot from a mockup, and it takes seconds rather than opening a design tool.

The browser frame option adds a plain macOS-style title bar with the three traffic-light dots above the screenshot — the detail that makes it read as "an app" rather than just a cropped image. Turn it off for anything that isn't a browser or window screenshot.

Everything renders live in your browser as you adjust the settings — nothing is uploaded. Download once it looks right.

Questions

What does the browser frame add exactly?

A plain title bar strip with three coloured dots (the macOS-style traffic lights), placed above your screenshot inside the same rounded, shadowed container. It's decorative — there's no real address bar or window controls.

Can I use a solid colour instead of a gradient?

The presets are all two-colour gradients — for a flat solid background, pick a gradient where both colours are close to identical, or use a different tool if you specifically need a flat fill.

Will this work for a phone screenshot?

Yes, though the browser frame is designed for landscape/desktop-style windows — turn it off for phone screenshots and just use the padding, corners and shadow.

Is my screenshot uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is composited directly on a canvas in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
