Photo filters

Apply grain, fade and colour grading presets.

How to use Photo filters

  1. Drop a photo onto the upload area.
  2. Pick a look: Warm, Cool, Vintage, Moody, Vivid or B&W.
  3. Fine-tune the look with the Fade and Grain sliders.
  4. Choose an output format under Save as and click Download.

A colour grading preset changes the overall mood of a photo — warmer or cooler, punchier or more desaturated — the same kind of look editing apps ship as one-tap filters. Pick one, then fine-tune it with two independent sliders: fade lifts the blacks for that hazy, washed-out film look, and grain adds a layer of film-like noise so the result doesn't look overly clean and digital.

All three combine, so "Vintage" plus a bit of fade and grain reads very differently from "Vintage" alone. Everything updates live as you adjust it.

The photo is processed entirely on a canvas in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Download once the look is right.

Questions

Can I use fade and grain without a colour preset?

Yes — leave the preset on "None" and adjust fade and grain on their own; both work independently of whichever preset is selected.

What does "fade" actually do?

It lifts the darkest tones and gently reduces contrast, which is what gives film photos and older scans that hazy, washed-out look rather than deep blacks.

Will this work on any photo format?

Yes — upload a JPG, PNG or WebP, and choose your output format separately (or keep the original).

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. Every filter is applied directly on a canvas in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
