Social media resizer
One upload, every size: Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn.
How to use Social media resizer
- Drop your image onto the upload area.
- Select the sizes you need for Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Choose an output format under Save as.
- Download each size, or click Download all to get every version in a zip.
Every platform wants a slightly different shape: Instagram's feed is square, its Stories are tall, YouTube thumbnails are wide, LinkedIn's are somewhere in between. Posting the same photo everywhere usually means resizing it by hand for each one. This tool does all of them from a single upload — tick the sizes you need and download the set.
Each size is cropped to match its target shape before scaling, centred on the middle of your photo, rather than squashing it to fit — a square Instagram post stays proportioned correctly instead of looking stretched.
Everything happens in your browser: nothing is uploaded, so there's no size limit on the photo going in. Generate the sizes you picked and download them individually or together as a ZIP.
Questions
Will my photo look stretched or distorted?
No — each size first crops your photo to match the target's proportions (centred), then scales it, the same way a phone's photo app crops before applying it as a background. Nothing gets squashed.
Can I pick exactly which sizes I want?
Yes — every size is an individual toggle grouped by platform, so generate just the ones you actually need rather than the whole set.
What if my subject ends up cropped out of a very different aspect ratio?
Because cropping is centred, a subject well off-centre in the original photo can end up cut off in a very different shape like a tall Story. For that case, crop the photo the way you want first with the crop tool, then resize.
Which format do the downloads use?
JPG by default. Use the Save as buttons to choose PNG, WebP, or keep the original format instead.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Every size is generated locally in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
