Rotate PDF
Turn one page or all of them, and save it the right way up. Runs on your device, nothing is uploaded.
How to use Rotate PDF
- 01Drop a PDF onto the upload area. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- 02Click a page to turn it 90° right, or use its left and right buttons.
- 03To fix many pages at once, choose All, Odd or Even pages and press Left or Right.
- 04Click Download PDF to save the rotated copy.
Scanned documents come out sideways, phone scans mix portrait and landscape, and a PDF viewer's rotate button only changes your view, not the file. The next person who opens it sees the same sideways page. This tool saves the rotation into the PDF itself.
The PDF is opened in your browser and each page's rotation setting is updated with pdf-lib. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so text stays sharp and selectable and the file stays about the same size. The file is never uploaded.
The Odd and Even buttons are for double-sided scans, where every other page comes out upside down: pick Even pages, press Right twice, and the whole stack is fixed in two clicks.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Rotation happens inside your browser tab and nothing is sent to a server.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only each page's rotation setting changes; the content isn't redrawn.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Click that page, or use the arrows under it. Other pages stay as they are.
Will it stay rotated when I open it elsewhere?
Yes. The rotation is saved in the file, so every PDF viewer shows the pages the right way up.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
Not yet. Remove the password first; the tool tells you if a file is protected.
